Superintendent Meria Carstarphen invites AISD staff and the community to watch live as she presents the 2011 State of the District Address from the new McCallum Arts Center.
A reflection and celebration of the past year's successes and an overview of where the district is heading, the presentation will stream online through AISD's website at http://www.austinisd.org/sod (website will go live this week).
What: 2011 State of the District
When: Wednesday, Nov. 30 from 10 to 11:00 a.m.
What: The presentation will highlight important district initiatives, including the Facilities Master Plan and budget, as well as provide a synopsis of the 2010-11 Annual Report.
Viewers will be able to watch the State of the District Address several different ways. On Time Warner and Grande Communications channel 22, The Austin ISD Website, this blog and within the school district facilities on the MediaCAST system, available on both AISD-TV channels.
