AISD students are giving up sugary soft drinks in a new initiative to combat obesity and push for healthier lifestyles.
Last Thursday morning the Austin Independent School District, Dell Children's Medical Center and community groups announced the no-soda challenge at Perez Elementary in Southeast Austin.
The press conference will air on AISD-TV Channel 22 on the following dates and times:
Thursday, September 13 - 8:48 pm
Saturday, September 15 - 9:00 am
Sunday, September 16 - 10:00 am
Monday, September 17 - 12:00 pm and 6:00 pm
Wednesday, September 19 - 11:00 pm
Friday, September 21 - 6:00 pm
