2012 Diploma Ceremony for Service Veterans

War veterans who attended school in the Austin Independent School District but did not earn a high school diploma as a result of their service to their country, were awarded a high school diploma from the district in a special ceremony.
AISD is awarding belated high school diplomas to veterans from the following wars:
  • World War II
  • Korean War
  • Vietnam War
  • Persian War
  • Iraq War
  • War in Afghanistan
  • or any other war formally declared by the United States, military engagement authorized by the United States Congress, or conflict authorized by the president of the United States under the War Powers Resolution of 1973.
