Austin Independent School District students in grades 5-9 are invited to participate in our Meet the Author: Kathryn Erskine webcast by submitting a brief video for Kathryn Erskine. The video may be questions for the author or comments about her book Mockingbird. We will include selected videos during the October 25 live webcast. The recorded show will air on channel 22 on October 30, 2013 from 12:00-12:30 p.m.
Video submissions must use one of the following video formats: .mov, .mpeg4, .avi, .wmv, .mpegps, .flv, 3gpp. Upload the students’ questions and comments at a video-sharing website, such as Vimeo or YouTube, and send us the link. Please be sure the link is published and public.
Selected videos will be featured in the live webcast, recorded for satellite uplink, distributed on DVD, and may be posted on the Fairfax Network website. Please be sure you have parent/legal guardian permissions and check your school system’s policies before allowing students to participate in the video.
Once you are ready to submit the video, complete the online Video Submission Form. Video questions must be uploaded by October 21, 2013.
