President’s Back-to-School Address to Students - Sept. 28, 12:30 p.m. CDT - President Obama will deliver his third annual Back-to-School Speech to students live from Benjamin Banneker Academic High School in Washington, D.C. In speaking directly to students in past years, President Obama has encouraged them to study hard and take responsibility for their education, urged them to set goals, to believe in themselves, and to be the authors of their own destinies.

Live viewing for September 28th is described here in a press release from the White House. In the press release it is stated, "President Obama’s Back-to-School Speech will be live streamed on WhiteHouse.gov so that classrooms across the country may listen to or watch the remarks." Since the speech is only available via Internet streaming or a commercial television network, AISD-TV is unable to carry the speech live.
