Austin Partners in Education, in partnership with Austin ISD, is proud to present Celebrate, an evening dedicated to honoring AISD volunteers. The event was held from 5:30 to 7 p.m., Thursday, May 3 at the Delco Center, 4601 Pecan Brook Dr. Joining Superintendent Meria Carstarphen, State Representative Donna Howard, Wells Fargo Community Bank President Mark Curry and Board of Trustees President Mark Williams in recognizing PTA of the Year, Partner in Education Coordinator of the Year, APIE Partner of the Year and APIE Hall of Fame inductee. The program included student performances, guest presenters, prizes and more! Individuals, community groups and local businesses including Outstanding Campus Volunteers and Volunteer Groups, Campus Partners, Mentors, Classroom Coaches and Parent Ambassadors will be honored.
